Natives Filmworks is proud to announce a new partnership with Michelangelo Productions, the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, and Aquarian Consult to expand the First Features Project beyond Nigeria.
This next phase marks a major step in opening access to Black storytellers across the world, creating a truly global platform for emerging voices and strengthening collaboration between Africa and the diaspora.
Since its inception, the First Features Project has been designed to support early-career filmmakers with the tools, mentorship, and industry pathways needed to develop globally competitive films. With this expansion, the initiative now moves into a broader international space—deepening its impact and reach.
